A great day of robotics

Today was a wonderful day in terms of progress and experience.  We accomplished things that we have either not tried or were not successful in attempting before.  For instance, we perfected the bus route missions, ( explained in our previous blog), decided on an official robot, and accomplished our main goal of getting the ball into the center ring.  The ball in the basket mission is still rough around the edges.  We need to start practicing aiming! In spite of that we got the software up and running (special thanks to Mr. Steele and my Dad). This has made programming much easier. The team has just recently switched from the MindStorms software to RoboLab, a more recent version of software to help program our robot. Also aiding us has been the Mind Manager software and Mr. Allen's Getting Things Done process. These tools help us organize our thoughts and ideas. We all look forward to getting more progress made in the future.
