Improving our robotics skills

This year our team has decided to aim for the Directors Award. We have been working really hard to improve our robotics skills which is something that our team has had trouble with in the past. The team decided that both for accuracy and for our technical presentation (explaining what our robot will do and how we accomplished it) we needed a rotational sensor. This was very difficult because in order to make our robot stronger we had enclosed the wheel area to keep anything from coming off. In other words, we had to take apart half of the robot. As some of our team members were putting the rotational sensor in Caitlin and I went downstairs to decide which missions we needed to follow and flowcharted them. They are the glasses and putting the CD away. A little while later we learned that in removing the robot's strongest supports the robot would collapse. Our problem was that no one remembered how to fix it! Also somehow our arm for one of the most important missions collapsed. Towards the end of the meeting we finally accomplished our goal and we have gained a lot of knowledge about how to build and rebuild our robot and arm.
