MindManager - a mentor’s perspective
I was introduced to the MindManager
software by our FIRST Jr. Robotics team coach, Eric
Mack. I have seen our girls
use the tool to assist in organizing the different challenges they are
solving for their upcoming LEGO Robotics competition. For myself, I have
use MindManager to assist in organizing my thoughts. I lead a FIRST
high school robotics team and I recently used MindManager to create a meeting
agenda. Not only was the tool helpful in assisting me to organize my thoughts
but it was useful for all present to track the progress of the meeting
as we worked our way along the spokes of the map. I'm also using it to
track upcoming events for our robot team.
I'm looking forward to learning about ResultsManager, which Eric plans to teach the team, so that we can better manage our team projects.
