Walking robots are cool!
At our second meeting we worked on building
robots, then built as many attachments as we could for it. First we split
into 3 teams and each team took one of the kits. A timer was set for 2
hours to see how much each team could get done. After, each team had built
a driving base we began working on the attachments. A favorite attachment
was legs that worked by gears rotating around themselves to make the legs
walk. Then the teams began working on tracks. Before they could finish,
time was up. The teams were all pleased at the amount that they had gotten
done.
