We’re in the news, ready to compete
Meeting #23 - Tonight was an exciting
night. First, we found out that Amy & Wendy's story made the front
page of our local newspaper. Then, Brittany and Amber brought us our new
team T-Shirts - we were fortunate to have a very generous and skilled person
help us with our team T-Shirts. Finally, we rehearsed for the scrimmage
this weekend. We split up into three two-person teams and we competed against
each other using the clock and official LEGO League Scoring. We identified
several areas of our robot that needed improvement. Next, we split into
two groups: a hardware group and a software group. The hardware group went
to work modifying the robot while the software group made changes to the
programs. Finally, we did some last minute testing and packed up our gear
for the competition this weekend.
