This was our first LEGO Mountaineer meeting
of the year. We introduced ourselves to a video camera for a video
documentary, then we worked on building the props for the playing field.
Because my group, consisting of Wendy and Lucy, had problems building

At this meeting we finished building the
LEGO parts for the Mission Mars game. We discussed what the game might
be and them teamed up into pairs to work on the LEGO pieces. The pieces
consisted of a bridge, a rover, a space station, a catapult, rocks, and
other miscellaneous items....

the elements for the Mars Missions. Faith and Amy worked together and built

At our second meeting we worked on building
robots, then built as many attachments as we could for it. First we split
into 3 teams and each team took one of the kits. A timer was set for 2
hours to see how much each team could get done. After, each team had built

Today, we built two "scooter"
robots. We also filled out a survey so that we can improve our team this
year. Both robots fell apart at least once and after they were both built,
only one worked and the other had a wrong piece in the middle! Although
