I hope we do as well in our next competition
as we did in the last two! I am so excited that we won the Directors
Award 2 times in a row, I think that is a record. I can't wait to
see what our next robot will do....

Today Mr. Mack asked us to build a robotic
arm to lift the CD off the holder. I had a lot of fun! Mr. Mack then
showed us that we could combine the three robotic arms to make a more reliable
design. That way we don't have to risk breaking anything. (We had originally
planned to switch arms.)...

Today we looked at the playing figures and gave
ideas of how we can accomplish the missions. We also talked about
the difficulties of the missions. I thought there was alot of information
to store in my head. It was a really fun time....

Today we talked about the missions the robot
will be doing. We made a mind map on the computer of the mission
objectives, requirements, scoring, basic steps, and comments. I learned
how to use the computer and how to make the map. (That's me, at the computer.)

We had another meeting today. We worked
on building the props for the field. We didn't finish the last prop because
it got to late tonight. I had lots of fun! I can't wait to program
a robot. I look forward to the next meeting. I hope we win
the highest award there is at the competition!...

Today I became the newest and youngest member
of the LEGO Mountaineers. I had so much fun building the LEGO props.
I built a chair, eye glasses, and a fence all out of Legos. I
had the most fun out of any activity I have done. I am looking forward
to the tournament.
