Flowcharting the robot’s moves

Today we finished two of our missions! They were deflecting the bus signs and putting the balls into the basket hoop. Over the week Amy and I had built and experimented with a robot to solve the bus signs. After we finished it we made a flowchart of our mission. A flowchart is a simple way to diagram something using words and symbols. We then split up with our team, Amy finished programming, while the rest of the team and I went upstairs to build an arm for the mission we had started the previous week. After building the arm we programmed it and tested it. When we presented our mission the team liked our robot so much that we decided to use it for the competition! Both missions work reliably and we are looking forward to doing another.
