Mind mapping the competition

This afternoon, I set up the computers and the LiveBoard and showed the girls how to visually record their ideas about their projects. Since we needed to become familiar with the specific missions that have to build a robot to accomplish. I suggested that the girls use MindManager to map out each of the nine missions for this year's challenge.

Working from the challenge rule sheet, we began to map out specific elements of each mission, including objective (Successful Outcome), key requirements, scoring, and comments.Later, we will return to each segment and to a basic SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, & Threats) analysis for each mission.  Finally, I hope to show the girls how they can use the GTD methodology and ResultsManager to identify and capture the specific next actions for each mission. We'll try to create a RestulsManager dashboard for the girls to use to manage their projects. I'll keep you posted on our progress.
