Our research presentation went well

We walked into the research presentation room.  We were surprised with how small and over-crowded the classroom was.  It was a small music room.  We were glad that we had practiced in our small family room.  There was barely room to walk, but we managed to move some boxes to set up our props.  The three judges seemed interested in our presentation.  This was our first  time delivering our power point presentation in public, which was difficult to do in such tight quarters.  We felt we did well, and the judges seemed pleased.  Our mother was worried when we walked out of the room with long faces.  She thought something had gone wrong, but by this time, it was nearly 9:30 pm, and we were just exhausted.
